He has a special interest in kidney stone prevention, specialised lipid management, diabetic kidney disease, and complex hypertension management. Dr Muir's approach to healthcare is comprehensive and holistic, emphasizing patient-centered care. 

As a Nephrology Advanced Trainee in the Renal Eastern Network, Sydney, Dr Muir has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing kidney care through research and education.
