Infectious Disease & General Medicine Specialist

Michael Mina is a specialist in Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine and General Medicine at the Northern Beaches Hospital (Head of Department), Blacktown and St Luke’s Hospitals (Chair of Medical Advisory Committee). 

 

He has a clinical and research interest in hepatitis, HIV and tuberculosis and has published in these fields. He has worked overseas in Europe, Africa and Asia and also spends time working amongst Aboriginal communities in the Top End and Central Australia. Michael has qualifications from both the UK and Australia, including MB ChB (Honours), FRACP, PhD, MRCP, DTM&H and MIPH (Honours).
